Candy Cane baby hat, Handknit Holidays
Needle: #7 Lantern Moon dpn
Yarn: Mission Falls 1824 Superwash wool, colors #006, 029
Deja vu. But you blinked, and the teal became red. The pattern lets the knitter choose which color to use when making a K2tog decrease that includes a stitch of each color. If you choose red, your crown becomes red. (The pattern states that the crown should be the same color as the brim, but the picture in the book shows the crown in one color, brim in the other color.)
This little hat is tagged for a colleague whose wife is due on Thanksgiving.
And in late-blocking news, we have THIS.
More deets after Rhinebeck.
Haha! Yes deja vu is right! Love the red.
Awesome coloring of your shawl! Looking forward to seeing it modeled in person.

The red is so cute - perfect for winter! Will you be showing more of the shawl? From what I can see of it, it looks quite nice.
