Really, Officer! It wasn't my fault! I was enabled!
I thought I was bringing her out to a yarn store so she could wander the aisles and dream.
I'm the one who came home with yarn.
Pattern: Candy Cane baby hat from Handknit Holidays
Yarn: Mission Falls 1824 wool (from bottom right to left, clockwise) teal/oyster, raspberry/oatmeal)
Where did you go??? I have a hunch!

I have no idea who you could possibly be talking about.

You're very kind to the Divine Ms. M, but I'm assuming you're not showing the cashmere because it's going to be a thoroughly nupped-up shawl for me for Christmas, right? I bought Nancy Bush's Estonian Lace book yesterday; can you tell? And I had a pound and a half of the Spinner's Hill batt; I spun thick, but not so lofty, yarn indeed.

I am not seeing a hat, I am seeing stash yarn. You can't fool me, hats have needles in them or look like hats.

No court would convict you.

YUM!

Obviously you were bushwhacked by the yarn while your guard was down. Totally not your fault.

If you haven't used 1824 before, WASH YOUR SWATCH. The stuff is lovely to work with, but it grows when wet. Caveat!
Please show the cashmere so the rest of us can drool and turn green.
