The painter was a cheerful man. He was the guy who painted around the robin's nest in front, because he just couldn't destroy someone else's home. Morning tea in the kitchen, and I caught this view out the window. I couldn't resist. I was using the flash setting.
"Did you just see lightning?" He queried his painting partner. I could hear them scratching their heads, looking around at the sunny day.
I turned off the flash, and continued to shoot. The second picture looks less like a guy being hung, and more like a happy painter, content with the world, just doing his job while sitting on a scaffold.
Love the pictures.

What a great image! It looks like someone just happily, casually hanging out in mid-air outside your window. :)

Great photos and story! Years ago, the outside of the apartment I was living in was being painted. The painters were... hmmmm... a bit less than careful about attire. Or deliberate. I never cared to know which. I glanced out my window and discovered that one of them not only had split the crotch of his pants, but was commando, too. If digital cameras had been available, would I have taken the shot? I honestly don't know. Today? Hell, yeah. :)

Oh, that is awesome. A bit on the macabre side, but awesome.

Or sort of Mary Poppin-ish. His feet coming in for a landing. :)

I was thinking Mary Poppins, too.
Love the lightning...

Funny. It'd be a great Halloween gag, having legs hanging outside the window. :D
So what color is the house? Did you change it?
