The big question is - do you now like the finishing process? I just don't like it at all, it's not that I can't do it but it's the knitting that I like and sewing up is not knitting. I've tried to kid myself that it's part of the process but it just doesn't wash.

The colours in the silk are lovely, "sand pebbles" indeed.

Nancie's classes are always so full of great info! It's even better when a class can be friend time, too.

Anne

You are a more patient soul than I. I don't think I'd be able to sit thru a class on finishing, even if I knew it was exactly the kind of class I need!

PumpkinMama

Sounds like some drool-worthy stash (and brain) enhancement.

Carole

Sounds like a terrific class. I wish I had paid attention and signed up for it myself.

Marcia

Well, I had the wrong conference in my email, but you knew where you were! I've given up on Continental....I knit my way way too fast and without pain to try again to switch. Grass is always greener! I did learn the Russian peeyurl from Galina once. I really need a finishing class one of these days....NOT my strong suit! Glad you had fun!

Danielle

Kit #89 will look lovely on you! (Well, the FO from kit #89, but you know what I mean!)

Kat

I need to take that class. Glad you had such a good time.

Lucia

Damn, I wish I'd been there. Did you do seaming reverse stockinette? And did you learn Continental knitting? Inquiring minds want to know.

Cheryl

Poorl! Haha! Cracks me up. I can't wait until my kit gets here. Kelly has inspired me to try to get a handspun/handknit sweater done in time for Soar though. 10 weeks! I'm going to try. . .

Kathy

I look like one happy girl! Isn't yarn also tax free here?? Loved hanging with you!

kirsten

hey, thanks for the shout. :)
and i so hope to get to habu one day... love the imagery of takako working away - so well described.

Lynn

Darn, I missed an opportunity to buy yarn!

Well, come to think of it, I was at WEBS both Saturday and Sunday - enough, enough, enough!

Ruth

Sounds like you had a better week than we did!

Truly, though, I envy you the chance to take all these classes from such masters. I'll be there with you, soon. I just have to get a few chicks out of the nest first.

Manise

That was fun! What a great teacher Nancie is!
