Happy Blogiversary!!! What a lovely letter! I have enjoyed getting to know you ;-)

--Deb

If all holiday letters were that entertaining and so very NOT bragging and name-dropping, I wouldn't dread them so much!

Juno

You have such a way of appreciating the good stuff. Lovely.

I am so honored to have been one of the strange women.

Carole

Great letter, Laurie. I'm glad to be included in those that know you.

margene

Dear Laurie-
You have been a highlight in blogland. It is a pleasure to have you here and to 'know' you. March isn't too far off!

Your pal,

Kellee

Lovely....just lovely. All Christmas letters should be so well written and full of sentiment.

claudia

The Bosworth spindle WAS totally your idea. That's the story and we're sticking to it.

Have a fabulous holiday season!

melanie

'Balance is key' is my mantra. I live by that saying.

What a lovely Xmas letter! I echo Kellee's response.

Martha

That is a beautiful letter. I'm so glad to have met you this year. Hope you have a joyous holiday!

Kristen

you mean I've only "known" you less than a year? really? it certainly feels like I've had a reliable stronghold in established medicine and fiber for much longer then that...

julia fc

As far as enabling is concerned, I don't know what you're talking about. ::fingers in ears:: lalalala
But as for F2F, that I will acknowledge as fun. Yep. Looking forward to more!
Any Tuesdays in your future?

Norma

"The Spindicate had their opportunity to insidiously inveigle into my vulnerable psyche."

I get a huge giggle imagining a) nonknitting-, nonspinning bloggers reading that and saying "WTF?"

and b) along the same lines, a sociologist (or the FBI, CIA, whatever) reading it and saying -- yeah, basically, "WTF?"

You're a wonderful force in blogland, and I love to know you. Hope to see you soon!

Beth S.

Sounds like a good first year to me! (Surgery excepted.)

I have a feeling that the Spindicate will get me soon, too.

Jess

I will be forever impressed by your ability to use the word 'inveigle'. I bow to your vocab prowess. Happy Holidays right back atcha ;o)

Stephanie

Have a wonderful Holiday sweetpea. The year wouldn't have been the same without you.

Lorette

What a great year-in-review! I'm very glad that you arrived in the Blogiverse this year!
And Spindicate? That might be the greatest word invented recently.

Bookish Wendy

F2F? You crazy kids and your lingo!

;) So glad to know you and looking forward to more F2F action in the coming year...

Oh, that sounds pornographic!

Cindy D

I really enjoyed reading your letter. I particularly loved:"One of my first crutchless acts was to rent a wheel, and the downward slide began with that simple act. Soon, fluff was exploding outward from drawers, cabinets, closets, and boxes". It's spoken like a true fiberholic!!! Have a happy holiday!

Judith

Happy Holidays & New Year to you. A great Holiday letter!

Kathy

Great letter, Laurie. Balance IS key!! All my best for 2006 :-)

Laurie, it's been a privilege to see your garden and get to know you a little. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2006.

Andrea

Your letter reminded me of your kind and thoughtful e-mails to me after my own surgery. It was so nice to "meet" you this year.

ann

I wish I had read this entry before the holidays - especially the part about 'letting' the holidays be good to me....
